This significant milestone highlights four decades of robust collaboration, innovation, and friendship between our two nations in the fields of Science, Technology, and Education.
In recognition of this special occasion, the Governments of Japan and India have jointly declared the ‘Year of India-Japan Science, Technology & Innovation Exchange." To celebrate this initiative, the India-Japan Society for Science, Technology, and Education (IJSSTE) is Organizing Japan - India S&T Seminar "International Conference on Frontier Areas of Science and Technology" (ICFAST 2026 – Tokyo) in association with the Indian JSPS Alumni Association (IJAA) and in collaboration with the University of Tokyo, with the support of the Embassy of India in Tokyo. This event will take place on February 14-15, 2026, at Ichijo Hall, University of Tokyo, Hongo Campus.
We warmly invite students, researchers, and faculty members from both India and Japan to participate in our seminar.
Together, we can enhance collaboration and foster future engagements in the fields of Science and Technology between our two countries.
